Dear parents of Ballerstaedtweg Primary School,
At our school, we attach great importance to teaching your children to be independent. A small component of this is that they learn how to master paths on their own. We therefore ask you to support us in this endeavour and encourage your child’s independence by letting them make their own way to their classroom from our gate at the latest. True to the Hamburg motto „Short legs, short distances“, the routes to the primary schools in Hamburg are all designed so that our primary school children can walk them alone. If you allow your child to do this, you are making a major contribution to their independence and to their road safety education. Thank you very much for your support!
